Live Baccarat
This casino game is favoured by high rollers and fictional secret agents. Players bet on which of 2 hands, Player or Banker, will be closest in value to 9 or if the hands will be tied. The cards are dealt in a specific way, which is detailed below. All cards are taken at their face value except aces, which are counted as 1 and picture cards, which have a value of zero. No hand in this game can exceed a value of 9. Any hand over 9 would be counted only by its second digit, i.e. 11 would be 1, 12 would be 2 etc. The game is played with 8 decks of cards, which are shuffled regularly by the dealer.
To begin playing, select the value of chip you wish to bet with and click directly on the Player, Tie or Banker spots. Once the timer has run down the dealer will begin dealing the cards. If there is a game in progress you will need to wait until it has completed before placing a bet.
The dealer will deal 2 cards each to the Player and the Banker. If the values of either hand is 8 or 9 (a natural) the hand is complete and no further cards are dealt. Otherwise cards are dealt by the third card rules below.
